열기/닫기

Since you have completed all required courses for your major, no more of academic updates can be made. If you still want to take more courses even after fulfilling the requirement, please do not apply for “course completion” and apply for “registration/leave of absence” during graduation intent application period.

4 Year Qualification
열기/닫기

All colleges other than the College of Medicine will move to the next year once they have completed enough semesters. Generally, a ‘year’ is updated by the number of semesters completed, not by the number of credits earned. “year qualification” is processed when both completed number of semesters and credits meet the department requirement. “Year qualification” is not a common academic concept and is used only for the administrative processing for school transfer and etc.

3 Year Qualification
열기/닫기

Year qualification is processed at the end of each semester according to the number of semesters and credits completed(including credits earned through summer/winter semester).

(Example: Year qualification is processed on the 29th of Feb, 2016 for Fall semester, and 31st of Aug, 2016 for Spring semester)

2 Year Qualification
열기/닫기

Year qualification is evaluated by reflecting the number of semesters taken and the credits earned. Both requirements need to be fulfilled in order to qualify each year.

So, if a student is in her 7th semester yet her credit requirement is not fulfilled, then her year qualification will not be approved. Since year qualification criteria vary depending on department and admission year, we recommend that you visit Ewha Homepage>Academic Resources>Graduation>Year Qualification, for more information.
