TaeSoo Kim is a professor in the Department of Life Science and has been studied on the molecular mechanism of epigenetic gene regulation. He received his Ph.D. from Seoul National University. After postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, he  moved to Ewha Womans University in 2013. His research goal is to investigate how chromatin factors and noncoding RNA transcription control dynamics of RNA polymerase II transcription to coordinate cellular processes upon environmental changes. He has received awards, including Special Fellow from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and TJ Park Professor fellowship from POSCO TJ Park Foundation.
