Hyung-Sook Lee Professor
Division of English Language & Literature/Interdisciplinary Program of Media, Arts and Humanities
Dr. Hyung-Sook Lee is Professor of the Department of English Language and Literature, and teaches cultural studies and film studies. She received her Ph.D. from the Division of Critical Studies, School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. She researches in the areas of English Language cinema, Asian cinema, transnationalism, glocalism, feminism, postcolonialsim, genre studies, etc., and has published articles and chapters both in English in Korean reflecting these themes. She also actively participates in the activities of SCMS(Society for Cinema and Media Studies/global), Association of Literature and Film(Korea), The American Studies Association of Korea, The Korean Association for Feminist Studies in English Literature, etc.
