Dr. Park is a Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at the Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea. He received the B.S. degree from the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea in 2004, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA, USA in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He was an intern researcher at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in 2008 and a senior researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland in 2009-2010. His research interests include resource management strategies for multimedia communications and networking based on game theory, optimization theory, etc. He has published more than 60 domestic and international papers and held several patents. He was a recipient of the Graduate Study Abroad Scholarship from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) in 2004, and a recipient of the Gregory Fellowship from Electrical Engineering Department, UCLA in 2008. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Lifetime Member of KICS.
