Dong-Eun Kim Professor
Department of Fashion Industry/Smart Curation
Dr. Dong-Eun Kim is an assistant professor in the Clothing and Textiles major, College of Art & Design. She received her PhD from University of Minnesota in the U.S. She worked as a technical designer at Marc Ecko Enterprises in the U.S. Dr. Kim’s research area focuses on anthropometry study, clothing sizing system, and patternmaking using 3D body scanning and 3D virtual garment simulation technologies. She published her research works in SCI indexed journals such as Textile Research Journal. She teaches patternmaking and clothing construction classes.
