Kwang-Ho Lee Professor
Painting
Lee Kwangho is a professor, major in western painting in painting department. He graduated from Seoul National University, in major of western painting and had master degree in the same graduate course. Through nine solo exhibitions and hundreds of project exhibitions, he has focused on the matter of 'representation' in painting. By driving realistic painting style but not being content with existing convention of painting, he has made efforts to deploy an original methodology of his own. As subject matters, he started with some of his personal themes and moved on to a series of works called 'Inter-View' from 2005 to 2008 during which he created one hundred twenty portraits. From 2008 he has been working on 'Cactus' and 'Landscape' series.
