Junghae Kim Professor Emeritus
Jung-Hye Kim, a fashion design professor in the department of textile and fashion at the College of Art & Design, teaches students in the fields of fashion art installation, fashion performance and fashion art fabrics. She received her master's degree in fine arts from the College of Art & Design at Ewha Womans University as well as from the College of Arts and Sciences at the Ohio State University. Throughout her professional life from 1988 to date, she has taught her students with the spirit of a missionary that spreads the gospels and headed Artist for Christ as an academic advisor for the past ten years. She has been with Ewah Womans University from 2004 and currently is the head of Fashion Design Research Institute of Ewha Womans University as well as the chairperson of Korea Knit Design Association. She started her professional career with an artwear exhibition in America in 1983 and has continued her production of arts to date as a fashion artist through private as well as group exhibitions and published a number of papers in the area of fashion arts. She translated Fashion design drawing technique (Publisher: Cho Hyungsa).
