김진우 프로필 사진
Jin-Woo Kim received his Ph.D, MSD and DDS degree in college of Dentistry from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. He currently heads up the research center for the Intractable Osteonecrosis of the Jaw. He is a professor and the Head of the Department of the Oral and maxillofacial surgery, School of Medicine, Ewha Womans University at Seoul, South Korea. His current research interests include bone biology, osteonecrosis of the jaw, 3D bio-printing, and deep learning-based diagnosis. He received the Best Young Investigator Award from the Korean Dental Association and the Korean association of Oral and maxillofacial surgeons. His recent work on the osteonecrosis of the jaw received the West-meets-East Award from the European Calcified Tissue Society Congress. He currently conducts various researches on osteonecrosis on the jaw regarding biomarker investigation, regenerative medicines and surgical reconstruction funded by national research foundation of Korea, Ministry of Health and welfare of Korea. He is a member of IADR, ASBMR, ECTS, EACMFS and KAOMS.
