강상원(姜相元) 교수
생명과학과[대학원] /의과대학 /생명과학전공
강상원 교수는 생명과학전공 소속으로 활성산소와 관련한 생체신호전달 연구의 권위자다. 미국 국립보건원(NIH)에서 박사후 연구원시절부터 세계 최초로 활성산소의 신호전달 기능을 연구한 경력을 시작으로 지금까지 세포신호전달 분야에서 활성산소의 작용기전을 연구하고 있으며 특히 활성산소 기능 연구를 통해 사람의 다양한 만성 질환(암, 혈관질환)의 치료에 적용하려는 노력을 해 오고 있다. 2002년 생명과학과에 부임한 후로 <Nature>, <Cell> 자매지등에 획기적인 연구결과들을 발표하고 있다. 또한 국내외 Proteomics 학술 활동도 활발하게 해 오고 있다.
